The Earth Also Suffers

I am earth and for those who have got no knowledge, that even though I am just spinning round and round on my own axis and in an orbit, I am constantly immersed in the solar wind emitted by my mother, the Sun in all directions because of the billion-degree heat of her outermost layer called the solar corona. For anyone’s general knowledge, the solar wind is a rarefied flow of hot plasma, a gas of free electrons and positive ions. And that solar wind travels with an estimated velocity of 400 km/s just to reach me. Can you imagine how excited they are just to see me? In addition to that, during what those Galilean people out there called as magnetic storms, the flows can be several times faster.
In my special magnetosphere, the space region whereas magnetic field is dominant, forms an obstacle in the path of that solar wind making the direction of the solar wind diverted around me with a distance of about 70,000 km before it reaches the obstacle’s surface. The magnetospheric obstacle is typically 190,000 km, and on my night side, hiding from my mother, a long “magneto tail” of stretched field lines extends to great distance.
Once the solar wind reached the magnetic surface, it became perturbed that easily transfers energy and material into my magnetosphere. The electrons and ions in my magnetosphere that are energized move along the magnetic field lines to the polar regions of my atmosphere; you note the differences of both spheres. There will be collisions in the atmosphere that will electronically excite atoms and molecules in my upper atmosphere. The only way to lose the excitation energy is by light emission or collisions that produce natural colored light displays, which are usually observed in the night sky, particularly in the polar zone. It often appears as a greenish glow or sometimes a faint red, as if the sun were rising from an unusual direction.
Oh, I have been floating on this blackness for nearly 4.55 billion years, and since then this is happening to me; however, did anyone of you had been good enough to think about that? Maybe no one or some people who are foolish enough to become a genius. It just adds to my burden that I would often heard from those long bearded oldies and pessimistic humans down there about folklores about my magnificence. Tons of country town theories had emerged since the mankind had the idea of my cosmic phenomena. Many times I have heard that if you would wave to the aurora, it would increase in activity or even reach down and catch you or that if you look at them you would damage your eyes. One common notion is that aurora just appears only appear when it is cold. What a bloody fool these people are! Aurora, of course, is unaffected by the weather and the only way to see them is the sky should be dark and cloudless, and under such conditions, it is always generally cold in the polar zone. Since I was born long before dinosaurs and satellites had emerged in and out of my surface, I had been suffering the effect of the burning heat of my mother Sun.
Will anyone of you acknowledge that for a single moment?
